How-to workshops are in-depth sessions where advanced functions of BusinessObjects can be demonstrated and discussed with users.
To Register These workshops are scheduled annually, however more sessions will be provided if required. For further information, contact User Support on Ext 52595.
| Reportal Workshops |
The workshop is run via a laptop and projector, and is not hands-on. It lasts for approximately one hour.
Prerequisites: None.
- How to access the Reportal
- How to use the Reportal - viewing and using reports, including downloading reports to tailor for use in BusinessObjects
- How to use 'My Documents' from within the Reportal - sending reports to your 'My Documents', deleting reports
- How to send reports to your own My Documents, or to another individual's My Documents area via BusinessObjects
- How to access and download reports via the Resource Centre
- How to get your standard reports published on the Reportal

| Standard Styles Workshops |
The workshop will be presented through a projector, and will be hands on.
Prerequisites: Attendees must be current BusinessObjects users and must know their current user name and password. You need to have attended the BusinessObjects Basic Training Course.
BusinessObjects uses a default style consisting of a blue background for the headings and a white background for data cells. This workshop will show you how you can change the defaults, so that your reports will automatically be presented in your preferred/corporate style.

| Formatting and Formulae Workshops |
The workshop will be presented through a laptop and projector. The session will be interactive but not hands on.
Prerequisites: You must have attended Intermediate training prior to participating.
This workshop is designed for users who have attended Intermediate training, and are keen to learn more! The workshop will show you some special formatting features, and will also give you some tips and ideas when creating formulae and variables.
