Using BusinessObjects


BusinessObjects is the ad hoc query and reporting tool that interfaces with the UQ Data Warehouse and the UQ Reportal.

The following resources are available to assist you in using BusinessObjects.

Access
'What you need to know' and how to apply for access to BusinessObjects.


Download Software
Windows users can download client access software from the Resource Centre. Special access arrangements apply to users not running Microsoft Windows.

Word Labels Macro is also available to download, which you can use to produce name and address labels from BusinessObjects queries.


Training
MIS offers a number of training courses for BusinessObjects users. Standard training is provided at Basic, Intermediate and Advanced level. 'How to' workshops and 'About the Data' information sessions are also available.


UQ Reportal
Users who are unfamiliar with the Reportal can take a quick tour. Reportal workshops are scheduled annually.
