The Space Collection provides access to a range of data relating to the allocation of physical space throughout the University. Information pertaining to different categories of space (offices, teaching areas, research areas and so on) is provided by Property and Facilities following the annual space audit conducted in March of each year.
The Space collection also contains data relating to staff and student load drawn from other collections within the data warehouse. Where available, these data sets are drawn from official collections.
Space data is used for performance indicators, trend analysis, benchmarking, and school review reports. Space data is contained in the Space Indicators universe, which spans the years 2001+, and the Space Inventory universes, which contain the annual data for the year indicated in the title.
