    Insert "Last Refresh Date"

    Question
I have a report that I refresh regularly, then print out for my head of school. Is there a way to automatically include the date that the report was refreshed, so that the head of school can easily tell if the data is up to date?

    Answer
Inserting a special field will allow you to do this.

    Solution
Go to the Insert menu, then select Special Field > Date and time > Last Refresh

The cursor will change to a crosshair.

Click where you would like to insert the cell into the report

    Insert "Page # of #"

    Question
I have a report containing several pages. Can I include a field in the footer to show the page number out of the total number of pages (eg "Page 1 of 10")?

    Answer
Inserting a special field will allow you to do this.

    Solution
To view the footer, go to View in the menu, then Page Layout.

Scroll to see the footer - note that BusinessObjects standard style already includes a footer cell with page number in it.

To change this, click within the cell, then go to the Insert menu, then select Special Field > Page numbers > Page # of #

The cell will now show the page number as required.
