I have a table with sensitive finance information in it. I would like to purge the query so that I can send my report to another user who has access to different financial cost centres to me.
Answer
Save and Close allows you to run a query without showing the results in your tables. This is useful if you need to send a report to another user with different security access to view information - such as sensitive staff or finance data which is restricted.
Solution
In the Query Panel (go to Data > Edit Data Provider), click on Save and Close instead of running the query. It is now safe to save and/or send your report to another user.
