How to send a report to another BusinessObjects user


Once you have created a report, you can send it to any other user of BusinessObjects. A special macro has been designed to make this very easy. To send a report, take the following steps:
  1. Click on File at the tope of the page and choose Send To, then UQ Users. The macro (blue table called Send to Users) should appear.
  2. A list of UQ BusinessObjects users will now be displayed.

  3. Type the first name of the user to whom you wish to send your report into the Search field. A list of all users with that first name will be generated

  4. Highlight the desired staff member by clicking on their name, then click the > (arrow) button to move your selection into the recipients box. You can repeat this process to select multiple staff members, or you can scroll through all users and select multiple users by holding down the Ctrl or Shift keys while clicking with the mouse. To move multiple users into the recipients box at the same time click the >> (double arrow) button.

  5. Click on the Send button at the bottom of the macro. Your report will now be sent to all users contained in the recipients list.

Note – Users will be notified of any documents sent to them the next time they log on to BusinessObjects.

You can also send a BusinessObjects report as an attachment via email.
