Question
I have a table with an alpha-sort on a column (surname). I do not need the data to be displayed in the table but I do need the data to be sorted. Can I hide it?
Answer
It is possible to hide columns (or rows) of data if it isn’t required to be viewed in a report, but it is required to perform a function such as sorts or filters.
Solution
Click on the table. Go to Format > Table, then on the Pivot tab, click the object you wish to hide. Click on the Hide button, then OK.
