Question
I have a table with a break in it. I would like to show just the summary details which appear at the bottom of the table (in the break footer) rather than all the detail in the table. Is this possible?
Answer
Folding in breaks allows you hide data in a table to show just the break footer. This is very useful when you need just the summary report. It is also possible to “unfold’ the data to show more of the detail in the table.
Solution
For example, a report that has a break on “EFTSU Faculty” and the EFTSU measures have been summed.
To fold the break, go to Format then Breaks. Check the fold box and then click OK.
Now the data in the table is hidden and only the break footer (summary detail) is shown.
